Setting Up Your Author Business

with Elizabeth Spaur

We’d all love it if we could simply write the stories we love to write and send them out in the world for readers who want to read them. The reality is that, if you want to make money as an author, you’re going to be in the business of writing.  Don’t know the difference between a business plan, a business form or a business model?  This workshop will help you understand the things you need to consider when setting and running your author business and will give you the tools you need to do it efficiently.  Whether you’ve been making money as a writer for a while, just starting out, traditionally published, or self-published this workshop can help you evaluate what you need to take your writing business to the next level and beyond.

This class is $20.00 for LVRW members and $25.00 for non-LVRW members.

Before she made the decision to add professional writer to her resume, Elizabeth Spaur earned a law degree and Masters of Business Administration before embarking on a legal career that has led her from working for the state and federal government to private practice.  By day she is a litigator, the rest of the time she’s a romance writer who loves a good happy ending.  Elizabeth writes contemporary, paranormal and historic romance. Her first three stories in her McFadden series are available in the Sin City Romance Writers’ Anthologies, Decades of Love, Love’s First Blush and Love for the Holidays.  Look for the first three books in her contemporary series, Gridiron Knights, later this year.
